An Egyptian archeological mission uncovered 110 burial chambers that date back to various antiquated times in the delta region of Daqahilia, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities said in an explanation on Tuesday.
"The disclosure is a significant expansion as far as anyone is concerned about the historical backdrop of old Egypt as it included pieces from three human advancements," said Mostafa Waziri, secretary-general of the Supreme Council of Antiquities.
Waziri alluded to the three human advancements as Lower Egypt, Naqada III which is the last period of the Naqada culture of old Egyptian ancient times, dating from roughly 3200 BC to 3000 BC, and the second halfway period known as the Hyksos time frame when Egypt fell into disorder between the finish of the Middle Kingdom and the beginning of New Kingdom.
He added that 68 burial places having a place with the development of Lower Egypt were found in oval shapes containing some crossed-leg mummies whose heads were coordinated toward the west.
Then, numerous pots and cosmetics materials were found in 37 different burial chambers that had a place with the Hyksos time frame.
